PATHS TO PEACE

Paths-to-peace-about.jpg

We're Trauma Informed Yoga Educators and Healing Artists who offer programs and trainings in peace and nonviolence, restorative justice and community building.

We collaborate with individuals, communities and organizations impacted by various forms of social and environmental oppression, as all oppressions are connected.

These injustices create traumas that must be addressed through the physical body.

We provide practices that support participants in transforming these traumas and breaking cycles of pain across generations, helping to support future generations through individual and collective healing.

We know that by cultivating inner peace, we can change the way we interact with ourselves, our communities and the world!

Robyn Donaldson, J.D.

Robyn became a yoga teacher after experiencing trauma and grief as a caretaker for terminally ill family members; and after working in politics, law and business. She experienced stress and burnout that impacted her health. She’s been a Certified Yoga Teacher for over 15 years and has advanced yoga teacher trainings in Prana Vinyasa, Ayurveda and Hatha. Robyn’s been practicing yoga for over 25 years. She believes in yoga’s power in addressing grief, moving trauma and building community. She has used these practices in processing her father’s transition to end of life and has seen firsthand the mind-body-spirit life connection to creation. Yoga’s supported Robyn in adapting to big life transitions and living a healthy, holistic, balanced life.

When moving trauma through the body, it’s helpful to have emotional and mental health support from professionals in the areas of psychotherapy and hypnotherapy.

People start to heal the moment they feel heard.
